About Head Start - Santa Fe - Flores del Sol

Children's Services:
Flores del Sol Head Start serves 174 children and families. The Head Start program is a comprehensive child development program that serves income eligible children, ages three to five years old, and their families. It is child-focused and has the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children. Children receive educational, nutritional, health, dental, and other supportive services.

Home Visiting Program:
Santa Fe Children services also serves 44 families of children birth to three years of age and pregnant women in a home based program option. Home visiting staff members visit the families in their homes and provide support, linkages to resources, and guidance on child development.
