Sweeney Head Start serves 54 children and families. The Head Start program is a comprehensive child development program that serves income eligible children, ages three to five years, and their families. It is child-focused and has the overall goal of increasing the school readiness of young children. Children receive educational, nutritional, health, dental, and other supportive services.
