The presence of this health center has improved compliance for diabetic and hypertensive patients, improved woman's health prevention offering pap smears and referrals for diagnostic mammograms and osteoporosis screening; improved compliance with childhood immunizations and is attempting to decrease the teen pregnancy rate in the community by being a distribution site for teen education and services related to sexuality issues, growth and development.
