Behavioral Health:
The Valley Community Health Center offers an extensive array of evidenced based behavioral health services for people of all ages who suffer from severe mental illness, emotional problems, and substance abuse. These services include initial mental health assessment, combined mental health and substance abuse counseling, psychiatric consultation, Comprehensive Community Support Services, psychosocial rehabilitation, group therapy including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Co-occurring Group Therapy using a Matrix Model approach, Anger Management Group therapy using a SAMHSA recommended model, consultation and training on mental health issues, and crisis intervention. For children and adolescents who suffer from emotional illness or at risk, we offer Multi-systemic Treatment and outpatient therapy both individual and family.
